User Experience for Life Sciences (UXLS)
A project between big pharmaceutical companies that aims to bring User Experience into the Life Sciences
Scientific software is very often written by domain experts for domain experts. Usually, there is no process that ensures a good usability. I started the User Experience for Life Sciences (UXLS) project because I was working on scientific software and saw a lack of information available on usability specifically for scientific software.
More than 50 UX experts from many large life science and pharmaceutical companies created a toolkit that helps life sciences and pharmaceutical companies to implement User Experience practices in their processes and products.
Next to proposing the project, I lead the team who was tasked with implementing the website.
