Diploma Thesis
My diploma thesis in biology about radiation-induced reactive oxygen species in fibroblasts.
After irradiation, many cell types begin to increase the production of reactive oxygen species (oxygen radicals). This overproduction lasts for about a week and is probably related to a radiation-induced cell cycle arrest (the cells stop dividing). In this thesis and the resulting paper, I characterized this response with X-ray and carbon ion irradiation.
This thesis was set entirely in InDesign. I cannot recommend at all doing this under a deadline.
